The “Democracy & Citizenship” Club in AUB organizes a conference on “Driving in Lebanon – Road Conditions and Driving Safety” on Wednesday, March 4^th at 12:30 PM at the West Bathish, West Hall, American University of Beirut.

Guest Speakers:

Mr. Ziyad Baroud, Minister of Interior and Municipalities
Mr. Ziad Akl, President of the Youth Association for Social Awareness (YASA)
Mr. Charbel Aidamouni, President of the Red Cross Emergency Medical Services in Jbeil

This event will not change the driving conditions or the drivers’ attitude in Lebanon, but it will definitely be a step in the 1,000-mile journey. Respecting the laws, regulations and standards makes us better citizens. There can be no daily democracy without daily citizenship!
