    Tajaddod-Youth Participates in CCER’s Bhamdoun Town-Hall Meeting

    Tajaddod-Youth members will participate in the first open-air Town-Hall meeting organized by the Civil Campaign for Electoral Reform (CCER) in  Bhamdoun, on Friday, August 29th at 6:00 PM.

    During the meeting, CCER experts will explain the electoral reforms that the Lebanese civil society has long been advocating for, and that were contained in the draft electoral law submitted by the Fouad Boutros commission in June 2006. There will also be stands where people can check CCER’s online election simulator, the new pre-printed voting ballots and sign letters calling on Lebanese MPs to include these reforms in the next electoral law.

    CCER experts will also talk about the role they have been playing since June 23rd within the Administration & Justice parliamentary committee, which has secured the adoption by the committee of various critical electoral reforms.

    Tajaddod-Youth joins CCER in inviting its members, supporters and friends, to attend the Bhamdoun meeting and all other regional meetings organized by CCER.
