    Picture of the Day: A Strange Definition of Tripoli’s Dignity

    The banner congratulates Tripoli for recovering its dignity, signed by Omar and Faisal Karami’s “Arab Liberation Party”. Dignity in Arabic is “Karama” thus the play on words echoing the particpation of Faisal Karami in the new Lebanese government.

    This banner is floating over a scene of destruction, sectarian violence and militia behavior.

    We are proud and honored to have a different definition of Tripoli’s dignity.

      It is a photoshopped Image. Lebanese are smart enough to detect the ploy. Ask Angie Nassar about it.
