Congratulations to the People of Tunisia

    Today we are all Tunisians.

January 14th 2011 will go down in history as a truly momentous day in the Arab World: a dictator was kicked out of power by citizens fed up with decades of suppression, human rights violations, deprivation and poverty. For the first time in our generation and in our parents’ generation a regime fell not because of coup d’Etat or because of foreign invasion, but because the people decided enough is enough, mobilized in the streets to bring down the regime.

Events are moving rapidly in Tunisia and we hope that the Tunisian people remain strong, united and in solidarity against any attempts to rob them of their victory. And we can only hope that every other Arab dictator is really really afraid and that the contagion spreads to the rest of the Arab world!
