Just for clarity's sake, I do not believe we can include late Minister Harajli in the current opposition camp, he was a close ally of martyred Premier Rafik Hariri

Too much logical fallacies and lack of understanding of the article:
1- The articles i talking about the double standards of Aoun, he is allied with those who had the majority in the past governments, on the other hands he accuses March 14 leaders who were a minority in these governments.
2- second and this is funny, so the ones that are with you in the opposition now, left the camp that was working to maintain syrias role in lebanon? :D , even they say it openly from HA to Amal to Wahhab to Qandil to SSNP to Karami (all ur allies) that they are still allied with syria.
3- The opposition is lead by General Aoun: haha.
4- I actually dont know what the last part has to do with the article, and i wont repeat what Nadim K said, and btw i suggest that you dont use much this type of articles as a source, it is not necessarly in your interest.

Hala, I think you've seriously missed the point here.

Michel Aoun has tried to make 14 March shoulder ALL responsibility for the situation the country is in now. This article just show's that his theory is nonsense, just like most of the other things he's said in the past three years. That is all this article tries to say.

And "Single voice against Syrian occupation", I think that's far from the truth. While he was sitting peacefully in Paris eating croissants some were risking their lives on a daily basis to contest Syrian interference.

And spare us your March 14 - Al Qaeda conspiracy theories, please.
I don't give a damn about what an ageing washington-based so-called-reporter with no sources and no experience about Lebanon has to say about my country.

so, let me make sure I get this straight,

While some of the people who ruined us and acted as Syrian puppets in the past maintain their abusive role of Lebanon today, some others have left the dark side and joined the opposition. How exactly does this discredit the opposition?

The opposition is lead by the General Aoun who was always the single voice against Syrian occupation and fabricated sectarianism (that's when March 14 arms an AAl Qaeda-related mob to push a civil war down the throat of the Lebanese. See SEymour hersh's article titled the Redirection, int eh New Yorker, March 5, 2007)

Great analysis Hadi. I admire your patience. I just don't bother to prove that "General" wrong anymore.

The people who still believe him today will always believe him, whatever he says...
