April 13 – Lebanese “Civil” War Anniversary
To Remember, To Not Be Returned

Many of you may not be aware of the occasion or may simply forget it.

Tuesday, April 13, 2010 is the 35th anniversary of the Lebanese “Civil” War.
However this is not enough but at least I fell I should say it: “to remember, to not be returned”!

Lebanese used to remember the direct sequels of the war from a conservative point of view full of antagonism, aversion, and revenge.
However, my “to remember” is dealing with the real problems that led the Lebanese people to kill each other.
Remembering poverty, inequalities, ignorance, subordination to foreign parties, fanaticism, extremism, etc.
I don’t know whether it’s a fact or not, but since we still have the same situation and the same causes, the only priority will always be to avoid a new Un-Civil war.
